Important Information for Providers
The Department of Health and Human Services has instituted a new system called
the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) to facilitate
Providers’ receipt of payment for healthcare. The NPPES will require each
healthcare Provider to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI). Devon
Health urges each provider to obtain an NPI promptly and to furnish it to your
Provider Relations Representative.
