Devon Health Announces New Staff Members in the Network Management Department
King of Prussia, PA – March 26, 2010 – Devon Health Services, Inc., a national healthcare cost management company and the largest privately-owned Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) in the Northeast, is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members to its Network Management Department.
Dana DeLuca-Peters joins Devon Health as operations assistant. Dana will provide general administrative support and assist in project-specific initiatives. Dana’s previous experience includes office manager for On the Level Builders and executive level AA (administrative assistant) position at Klover Contracting, Inc. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Therapy from Cedar Crest College where she is still involved in health and wellness programs.
Michele DeFrangesco has transferred to the network management team from the Claims Settlement Department where she served as a quality control specialist. She will serve as a provider relations representative focusing on various recruitment and provider initiatives.
Dan Meares also joins the team as the new manager of hospital contracts and relations. In this position, Dan will play a key role in the development of Devon Health’s Preferred Network, the Secondary/Travel Network, and the Injury Management hospital network. He previously worked for Devon Health as a provider relations representative where he worked closely with many key provider groups. He recently gained valuable experience on the hospital side of the industry when he worked with executives on special projects at the St. Luke’s Health System in Bethlehem, PA. He also recently earned a Masters Degree in Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Scranton.
