Leisure Chateau rehabilitates patients with a wide range of clinical needs
including orthopedic, wound care, pain management, stroke and tracheotomy care.
At Leisure Chateau Care & Rehabilitation Center our goal is to ensure that
patients receive the appropriate care in the optimum manner to make
recuperation as quick as possible.
Our newly renovated sub-acute unit has its own entrance. Rehabilitation takes
place in two large, state of the art fitness centers where Physical,
Occupational and Speech therapies are available seven days a week. Leisure
Chateau’s licensed, certified medical and therapy staff evaluates each
individual and keeps them and their family informed about their progress. A
Physiatrist monitors the therapy received as well, to ensure the highest
quality care. The success of our rehabilitation program is evident in our
results as we routinely return patients to their prior level of function.
We are prepared to help our patients manage any medical, social or emotional
need that should arise during their stay. All personal care needs are met by
Leisure Chateau. These include laundry, housekeeping, free telephone service
and satellite TV. Appointments can be made with our onsite beautician and
barber. Religious services are held for all denominations. Meals are served in
the dining room or in the patient rooms as desired and are prepared by a
gourmet chef.
Leisure Chateau’s wonderful recreation staff prepares a multitude of daily
activities, events, outings and more. Patients can come enjoy our daily movie
screenings and live entertainment. Arts and Crafts, Pet Therapy, Bingo and
Bowling are just a few of the many diversions we offer. The recreation room is
available for family gatherings as well, by reservation.
A social worker meets with our patients and their families regularly to assess
their needs and to discuss discharge plans. Patients can feel free to ask
questions and discuss all available options including home care or assisted
living placement, if necessary. We encourage family member involvement in all
aspects of a patient’s stay.
