Devon Health Employees Named Finalists for 2006 American Business Awards
“Stevies” to be Presented June 12 in New York City
King of Prussia, PA – June 7, 2006 – Devon Health Services, Inc., a National Healthcare Cost Management Company and the Northeast's most extensive Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), has produced five finalists for the 4th Annual American Business Awards. Winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 12, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Devon Health employees were named finalists for Best Executive, Best Sales Executive, and Best Creative Person. Devon Health’s Marketing and Public Relations Department is a finalist for Best Creative Team.
Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (September 22, 2002), the American Business Awards, nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word “crowned,” are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. More than 1,500 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry submitted entries in more than 40 categories.
Charles Falcone, president of Devon Health, and Barbara Grundy Evans, vice president of business services for Devon Health, were named finalists for Best Executive. Mr. Falcone was recognized for his superior strategic initiatives in obtaining business partnerships for Devon Health, while Ms. Grundy Evans was nominated for her continuous efforts to increase the company’s focus and commitment to superior service.
Brian D. Atkinson, vice president of sales for Devon Health, has been selected as a finalist for Best Sales Executive. Mr. Atkinson was recognized for his ability to generate new business opportunities while managing accounts.
Brandon McNeely, senior designer for Devon Health, is a finalist for Best Creative Person. McNeely was recognized for his design and logo creations and enhancing the performance of the design department.
Devon Health’s Marketing and Public Relations department is a finalist for Best Creative Team. The department was recognized for their exceptional work on creating brand awareness for Devon Health, website development, and public relations campaigns.
