DEVON HEALTH TO USE PENNSYLVANIA STANDARD APPLICATION
King of Prussia, PA – May 9, 2006 – Devon Health Services,
Inc., a National Healthcare Cost Management Company and the Northeast’s most
extensive Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), has replaced its former
physician application with the Pennsylvania Standard Application.
“This survey will help to advance Devon Health’s current credentialing
procedures,” says Gayla Sexton, assistant vice president of operations. “By
using this survey we are able to obtain more information about our doctors’
training and professional experience, allowing us to provide better service and
a stronger network.”
Physicians must complete the Pennsylvania Standard Application to join the Devon
Health network. The standard application is used in most doctors’ offices.
“Devon Health wants to make joining our network as convenient as possible,” says
Shawn Scavone, director of network development. “The Pennsylvania Standard
Application also allows us to better serve our clients because it encompasses
more information about physicians.”
