DIG CYCLING PARTICIPATES IN EVENTS TO FIGHT ILLNESSES
King of Prussia, PA – March 28, 2006 – DIG Cycling Team, Inc.,
a non-profit organization devoted to raising funds in support of regional and
national non-profits and their efforts to create awareness in the fight against
life changing illnesses, is participating in seven upcoming cycling events in
the Greater Philadelphia area.
DIG Cycling is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of life changing
diseases like multiple sclerosis, cancer, heart disease and diabetes. In 2006
the cyclists will ride in Girls with Gears benefiting Carol for Heart, Bike 4
Sight, MS 150 PA Dutch Tour, Diabetes Tour de Cure, American Cancer Society
Bike-a-thon, Livestrong Ride, and the MS 150 City to Shore Ride.
“We know how illnesses like these affect our friends, family, loved ones, and
people in our own communities” says Barbara Grundy Evans, vice president of
business services for Devon Health. “Each event aims to provide support for
education, research, and prevention of devastating diseases. This is what
motivates us to ride.”
DIG Cycling looks to raise over $15,000 this year and offers a complete list of
