Devon Scholars 2006 Scholarship Contest Underway

High School Seniors Eligible for Partial College Scholarships

King of Prussia, PA – January 19, 2006 – Devon Health Services, Inc., is reviewing applications for its second annual Devon Scholars Scholarship Contest. Devon Health is a National Cost Management Company and the Northeast’s most extensive Preferred Provider Organization (PPO).

The scholarships are awarded to high school seniors interested in pursuing healthcare-related studies. Devon Health awards a $2,500 first prize, $1,000 second prize, and $500 third prize. Specified amounts are given to the winners’ university or college of choice in the form of tuition payment.

The contest is based on applicants’ grades, community involvement, extracurricular activities, personal and professional references, financial need, and an essay.
