King of Prussia, PA – January 10, 2005 – Barbara Grundy Evans,
Vice President of Business Services for Devon Health Services, Inc., was named
a finalist for Best Executive at the 2005 Stevie® Awards for Women
Entrepreneurs. Devon Health is a National Healthcare Cost Management company
and the Northeast’s most extensive Preferred Provider Organization (PPO).
The Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs is an international awards competition
recognizing the accomplishments of women executives and business owners. The
awards are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business
Awards, hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (April
27, 2005).
“Barbara is a vital member of our executive team,” says Charles Falcone,
President of Devon Health. “She is a strong, experienced leader, and her
contributions to the company have been immeasurable. I’m proud that she was
recognized by the Stevies.”
“It is an honor to be mentioned amongst the top female executives at some of the
nation’s leading organizations,” says Grundy Evans. “This finalist selection
speaks to the progress and expansion of Devon Health.”

She was also a leader in the community, spending time with children in the
Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s “Read-To-Me” program, and organizing
a cycling team to raise money for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
Grundy Evans has been with Devon Health for nine years. As Vice President of
Business Services since 2002, she has worked to increase the company’s focus
and commitment to superior service. Grundy Evans also spearheaded the formation
of Devon Health’s Marketing and Public Relations and Product Development
Departments.
