John A. Bennett

For the last twenty years, Dr. John A. Bennett, MD, has been one of the most recognized businessmen in the Philadelphia area. A local and national leader in the healthcare and technology industries, Dr. Bennett is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Devon International Group.
Dr. Bennett joined Delaware County Memorial Hospital as an emergency room physician in 1978. Three years later, he was elected to the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee and made Director of Emergency Services. In June of 1984, he was elected president of the Medical Executive Committee.
In 1984, he founded ATI Centers, Inc., which consisted of 13 outpatient diagnostic imaging and physical therapy centers located throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Fueled by immediate interest in the company, Dr. Bennett and a handful of employees set out to build a preferred provider organization with services to encompass all provider specialties – and succeeded.
Renamed Devon Health Services, Inc. in 1995, the preferred provider organization is now operating at the national level and affecting over 3,000,000 lives with a staff of more than 100 employees.
Dr. Bennett currently owns a number of successful companies that make up the Devon International Group. Devon Health heads up the healthcare division and operates Devon Medical Products, serving the medical community by providing creative and cost-effective medical products; most impressive is the patented safety syringe. Supply Marketing is a marketing communications company that creates and maintains brand awareness in physicians' offices. And Doctor’s Advocate is a prepaid legal service to help doctors combat frivolous lawsuits.
Devon IT leads the information technology division and has witnessed significant growth in its NTA Virtual Office product with offices in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and Shanghai, China and which recently partnered with IBM in the distribution of the NTA Virtual Office technology.
Devon International Trading heads the international business division, specializing in developing relationships and sourcing and manufacturing products for import and export internationally. Devon International Trading has several subdivisions including Devon Building Products, Devon Office Furniture and Devon Motorcycles.
Dr. Bennett is a true entrepreneur who identifies unique products and services that enhance global business. Dr. Bennett’s work takes him throughout the world, where his international relationships and business partnerships help drive revenue to the domestic markets.

Charlie Falcone
President

Mr. Falcone was named President of Devon Health Services, Inc. in August 2004. As one of the first full-time employees eleven years ago, Mr. Falcone was instrumental in the development of Devon Health. Prior to being named President, Mr. Falcone served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for five years. Under Mr. Falcone’s leadership, Devon Health has experienced double digit revenue and profitability growth.
Mr. Falcone’s industry knowledge gave him the ability to foresee the next level in healthcare. This focus allowed him to spearhead various initiatives for Devon Health to treat providers in their regional network as clients. In 2005, under Mr. Falcone’s leadership, Devon Health developed two wholly-owned subsidiaries and a strategic partnership that address various physician needs.
Devon Medical: The mission of DMS is to create and manufacture cutting-edge technology that protects healthcare workers and increases patient health and safety. The products are the most cost-effective products on the market.
Supply Marketing, Inc.: Supply Marketing, Inc. is a full service marketing and communications company that successfully creates and maintains brand awareness for their clients. Supply Marketing has been on the forefront of a growing “hot” area of branding and communications called Point of Care marketing. This consists of the placement of marketing or communications messages within a physician’s office utilizing unique marketing vehicles.
Doctor’s Advocate: Doctor’s Advocate’s mission is to combat frivolous lawsuits, raise awareness of the medical malpractice and healthcare delivery crises, and push for legislative malpractice reform. Devon Health provides marketing and administrative support to Doctor’s Advocate.
In 2004 Mr. Falcone was a recipient of Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under 40 award, and in 2006 was appointed to the Board of Directors for the AAPPO. He is also very community and people-focused. He has a keen interest in finding and hiring local talent. Through its intern program, Devon Health has worked with many of the area’s top colleges and universities to make this possible. The “Devon Cares” program, the philanthropic arm of DHS, has contributed both people-power and money to many local and national based charities.
Mr. Falcone joined Devon Health in 1994 and has serviced as Director of various departments including Sales, Marketing, Network Development and Provider Relations. Prior to joining Devon Health, Mr. Falcone spent two years with Haverford Partners, a real estate investment and management group. As Vice President of Development he directed the company’s acquisitions and capital planning.
Mr. Falcone graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Mathematics.

George Clark
Controller and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Clark is an experienced "hands-on" business leader with significant experience in financial reporting and controls, financial and corporate management information systems, and general corporate administration. He has had extensive business experience in healthcare services, including Multi-specialty Physician Practices, Third Party Administrators, Physician Search, Property & Casualty Insurance, in addition to his current service at Devon Health, which began in 1992.
Mr. Clark received his B.S in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Widener University, and is a member of the AICPA and PICPA.

Jeffrey Penn
Executive Vice President of Sales
Devon Health Services, Inc.
Jeffrey Penn has 15 years experience in health care with responsibilities including sales and marketing, product development, strategic planning and provider contracting. Penn has been in his current role since 1995. He is responsible for marketing to insurance companies, third party administrators, brokers, benefit consultants and self funded employer groups. He was the first employee of Devon Health at its inception in 1991 and his initial duties included physician and ancillary network development. He became Director of Market Development in 1993 and his role was expanded to include the hospital contracting and network management.
Mr. Penn received the Best Sales Manger Award at the Second Annual American Business Awards in May of 2004. More than 800 nominations from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration, and Mr. Penn was honored with the winners at a reception in New York City.
Penn holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University. He recently earned a Fellowship in managed care from the Academy of Healthcare Management.
