1. How do I prepare for an interview at Devon Health?
Come prepared to sell yourself and your strengths. Don’t just talk about your strengths, show how those strengths have made you a success. We suggest you review the job description along with your resume, to determine how your background applies to the position in a relevant manner. Be prepared to cite professional examples of your key accomplishments, and familiarize yourself with what's on your resume. If you have the time, role play with a friend or colleague.

2. How much do I need to know about Devon Health before I interview?
We won't quiz you at your interview. But you may find it helpful to read about Devon Health- it’s history, products, people, strengths and values- before you come in. (Hint: You can start right here on this Website.) After you finish gathering information, prepare a list of questions that you can bring to the interview. Interviewing should be a two-way process, where both parties are trying for a “best fit.” Some answers may be surprising but are necessary and helpful when thinking about career changes.

3. What should I wear?
Devon Health prefers to conduct interviews in business attire. Our employees are Devon Health’s representatives. An ability to dress appropriately is key.

5. How long does the hiring process take?
While most posted positions are available immediately, the hiring process can vary greatly in length and can depend upon many factors, including the type of skills needed and the number of qualified candidates.

6. What is Devon Health’s interviewing style?
It's what's known as a behavior-based style. Our HR Manager and hiring managers like to hear about specific situations you've been in, as well as your accomplishments. If you describe yourself as efficient, be sure you're able to provide examples from your work history that illustrate that trait. You will also be asked probing questions that will tell us how you handle deadlines or situations that require quick decision making and action.

7. How many rounds of interviews will I go through?
Most people have at least two rounds of face-to-face interviews - the first with HR Managers or hiring managers, and the second with the team or with the responsible division executive. In some cases, only one interview may be necessary and in others, four or five may be required.

8. Will I receive feedback on my interview?
We make every effort to give feedback to all candidates regarding interviews, either in person or in writing.

9. If I don't get this job, can I continue to apply for other Devon Health positions?
Yes. Our positions are updated frequently. We may well have a new opening that's a better fit for you.

10. If I am offered a position, when would I be expected to start?
Most open positions are available right now. However, the hiring process may take some time, and we respect your obligation to give notice at your current place of employment. The actual start date will be discussed between you and the hiring manager.

11. What's the salary range?
Devon Health reviews its salary structure regularly to remain competitive with market conditions. All jobs have a broad salary range that accommodates those employees who are becoming proficient at their positions, as well as those who are already quite skilled. Your starting salary will depend upon your experience and perceived proficiency at your job.

12. Do employees receive bonuses?
Performance-based bonus opportunities are available with many jobs. Bonuses are typically paid on a quarterly basis for the prior quarter. Your hiring manager can tell you whether the position you've applied for is bonus-eligible.

13. What types of training do you provide to new hires?
All Devon Health employees are provided with the tools and training we think they will need to be successful. You and your manager can explore options that range from in-house classroom training to off-site courses and seminars. In-house training exists for a variety of subjects including technology, management development and wellness/health/lifestyle issues.

14. Do you have flex-time?
Each business unit sets its own policy with respect to hours. Depending upon the nature of the work, some offer very flexible scheduling, while others require more traditional hours.
